Train Show

As you can imagine Reagan was in heaven at the mention of going to a train show.  He could hardly contain his excitement at the various train displays!

We thought this one was really fun. . .reminds us of home.

Reagan speeding along on his very own train!

Husky Trike

It is almost Husky football season so Reagan thought it was time for him to bust out the trike that Grandma Nancy sent out shortly after he was born.  He loves riding his trike while shouting "Go Huskies!"

Go Huskies!

Thanks Grandma Nancy!!!

Reagan is learning how to stay on the paved paths.  He doesn't always watch where he is going!

Reagan filled a bucket with sand, put it in the back of the car and told me he was going to Nordstrom!

Kubo-Kirschenbaum Family Dinner

Kai's cousins Emilia and Lizzie are now East Coasters!  Emilia has been here for a few years, but now has a car so she can drive down to visit her sister and her favorite little cousins, Reagan & Camp!  She is in her senior year at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, about 3 hours away.  Lizzie is starting her 1st year at George Washington University.  We are so excited to have the girls close by!

They feed babies. . .

play with them. . .

and put up with their shenanigans!

Oh and. . .they change dirty diapers and give baths!  I should probably hire them to babysit so Kai and I can go out on a date!

Steve and Katrina's Wedding

While Grandma took care of Reagan, we spent time in Minneapolis celebrating Steve and Katrina's wedding. Festivities included a Twins game at the new Target Field, golfing for the boys, shopping for Mommy and Camp, and a beautiful wedding!

Camp fell asleep during the speeches and stayed cozy despite the loud music playing in the next room.

Congratulations Steve and Katrina!

Reagan & Grandma Nancy

Grandma Nancy came to town for a short visit to watch Reagan for a long weekend so we could attend Steve and Katrina's wedding in Minneapolis.

Agenda for the weekend:

  • Touch a Truck event - Reagan loved the Metro bus, hated all the loud horns.
  • Toy Story 3 - They had to leave the theater promptly after the toys are put into the incinerator.  Reagan still hasn't stopped talking about it.
  • Butterfly Garden at Brookside Gardens - Reagan convinced Grandma to let him take some pictures with her camera and they actually turned out great!
  • Shopping - and of course they did some shopping!  Target, Starbucks and numerous trips to the grocery store!
We came home to a happy 3 year old with many memories of playing with Grandma and a wonderful meal with enough for left overs! Thank you Grandma Nancy!

Reagan convinced Grandma to make chocolate chip cookies upon her arrival.  He enjoyed licking the batter for the first time...mmmmm...yummy!

Reagan pretended to drive the Metro bus. . .but there was no honking!

A Dinosaur train set found at his favorite store Target!  Thanks Grandma!

Looking so grown up!

Pretty sure Grandma had a hand in helping take these beautiful shots of the butterflies at Brookside Gardens.

Reagan took this one all on his own!  Good job!

Reagan and Camp weren't ready to have Grandma go home.
We love you Grandma Nancy!

Playing with Aidan

Aidan and Camp

Camp loooooves his bouncy chair.  He is learning to balance quite well and enjoys spending time looking in the mirror and playing with the toys.

Aidan has the same bouncy chair at home and was very entertained by pulling himself up to play with Camp.

Good-bye Nick!

Our nephew Nick left for his mission this week.  We are very proud of him and are excited to hear about his adventures in Peru.
Nick is great with Camp and Reagan. . .probably because he has had so much experience with 4 younger siblings!

Nick gave Reagan one of his old train sets.  As you can imagine, Regan was thrilled!!!

Nick is quite the engineer and showed Reagan how to put the tracks together.
