Post Christmas Fun!

Kai and I both have the whole week off which means lots of time at home with the boys!  We have been having a lot of fun playing with all the new gadgets we got for Christmas.

Camp loves his new sit and stand toy.  Right now it is set up for him to sit on and then eventually we will flip the rockers over and he can wheel around the house.  He is quite the daredevil...I caught him standing on the seat the other day!  Just about gave me a heart attack, but that is a whole other story.

Kai firmly believes that if you are going to collect something that every piece in the collection must be obtained otherwise the collection is not complete.  We are going to need a new house if this trend continues.  This year Reagan had his mind set on this Tomica set.  He received three different Tomica city sets to create this...

One of Camp's new things this week is pointing at people.  We walked past the same man 3 times the other day in the mall and he pointed at him every time we saw him.  Coincidence?

Oh and he's quite the helper.  Here he is trying to help Daddy fix the Tivo.

So my dad took up knitting hats again.  Yes, a grown man in his 70's knitting hats.  He began knitting hats a few years ago and donated them to needy families.  Recently he and my brother made hats for my nephew's cross country team.  I think it is somewhat therapeutic for him.  They boys got their first hats from Papa Shawen this Christmas.  Thanks dad!

Camp has been enjoying some of his new toys from Christmas.  I wish I could capture all his cuteness in one video.  He is really a funny little guy!

Another Christmas package showed up from Marcy and Tyler today.  Reagan looooooved the book and miniature Thomas & Friends trains that came with it. Thanks Marcy & Tyler!

Merry Christmas!

We woke up this morning to find that Santa had visited our house.  He ate the cookies, drank the milk and his Reindeer even nibbled on the carrots we left for them...wink...wink.  Reagan was very surprised to see that Santa came.

So now that we have our new video flip camera I am going to try and capture some of the little things that the boys do.  Bare with me...I'm not as tech savvy with the camera!

Here goes!

Thanks Shawen, Mahalah & Croft for the games!

Thanks Grandpa Gil & Grandma Aimee for the Tomica Hypercity.

 Camp's first gift.

Thanks Grandma Nancy for the puppy dog!

It has passed the taste test!

Thanks Grandma Nancy for the clothes!

Thanks Aunt Kay & Uncle Jack for the Bingo games!

Thanks Aunt Mari & Uncle Simon for the books.  These are two that I have never seen and look really great!

Thanks Amalia for the new book.  Another book I don't have and haven't seen.

Thanks Grandma Nancy for the Tomica Super City!

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful gifts!

We feel very blessed this Christmas.  Thanks to everyone for the wonderful gifts!  We are looking forward to spending the day at home with our boys.

The best part...it just started to snow!

Suspicious Package

So a suspicious package arrived at our house the other day...inside it I found a flip video camera that I had my eye on.  Kai and I agreed we were not going to get each other gifts this year but he surprised me anyway.

I've never seen a baby that loves the vacuum so much!  Camp chases after it every time I am cleaning!

Christmas Eve

The boys got dressed in their Christmas jammies in preparation for Santa.  They checked out a few of the gifts that have already arrived from grandparents, aunts, uncles & cousins before putting out milk & cookies for Santa and a few carrots for his Reindeer.

Hoping our stockings will be filled with goodies from Santa in the morning!

Reagan thought the Reindeer would also like mushrooms & grapes, but settled on carrots.

The final countdown.
(This is one of my favorite decorations for Christmas.  My mom painted it years ago and I am lucky enough to have it!)

Some of our favorite ornaments that we have collected over the years.
This one doesn't need an explanation.

 Official Congressional ornament 2010

Camp's 1st ornament.  Thanks Grandma Nancy!

Reagan's favorite this year.

Miss Isabella

 Good Night!

This week with Camp

Pretty sure the feeling is not mutual, but Camp really loves Isabella.  She tolerates him most of the time and then seeks refuge on the stairs or on higher ground.

Getting him started early...his wife will one day thank me.
