Port Discovery Museum

We made it to one of our favorite children's museums today.  Jess, Brady and Caden joined us.

Fountains big, fountains small, with these pipes you can build em all!

Reagan loves filling up the pipes and watching the water pour out the other end.  He could stay here for hours!

Making a large bubble!

Making music with water guns with Brady.

Shopping. . .Reagan is really good at it!  Wonder where he gets that from?

Last stop!  The gas station to fill up our car before we head home.

Ahoy, Matey!
A stop in the Inner Harbor was a must for Brady.  He is really into Pirates and Pirate ships.  He knew all the different parts of the ship!

Camp's First Cereal

Camp enjoyed his first bowl of rice cereal today.

Yummy!

Loves eating the bib even more!

Swimming at Liz's House

Once again we are in the pool!
  • Reagan played in and around the pool for about 3 hours.
  • Camp enjoyed his swim and then fell fast asleep in his towel on the lawn.
  • Both boys slept for 3+ hours when we got home!
Good day!

Reagan was pretty impressed with his friend the rubber duck.

The rock needed some watering.

Liz and Camp. . .she is going to teach him how to swim!

Michelle and Aiden (10 months)

Cindi and her boys, Charlie and Joe

Camp getting ready for his nap.

Looks like we are going to make it a weekly event.  More to come next Tuesday!

Camp is 4 months!

It is really hard to believe that Camp is already 4 months and is starting to do all the normal things babies do at this stage.

So far Camp. . .

  • Smiles & laughs
  • Coos, squeals, gurgles, and blows bubbles
  • Bats and grasps toys.  Once he gets a hold of them they go straight to his mouth.
  • Can bear weight on his legs.  He loves to stand!
  • Rolls from tummy to back and is getting closer and closer to rolling back to tummy
  • Sleeps through the night (most nights)
It has gone so incredibly fast and we are loving every moment.  He is such a sweet baby!

More Fun in the Sun!

With temperatures in the upper 90's today, we decided it was a good day to go for a dip.  Becky invited us over to enjoy her neighborhood pool.  Thank you Becky!
Reagan decided the pavement needed watering since it was soooooo hot!

Sunday Funday!

It was so beautiful today, low 90's and low humidity!  After naps we headed out to go for a walk along the canal and couldn't resist stopping by Glen Echo park since we were in the neighborhood.

Canal

I absolutely love watching Kai and Reagan walk together!

Camp is always chomping away at those little fingers!

Yes. . .I am carrying both children!  Reagan wanted to be carried and I already had a load on the front. . .why not even it out!

Every little bug, insect or rock had to be inspected by Reagan.  Our walks take us much longer as a result.

Glen Echo Park

The Carousel was probably the most beautiful carousel I have ever seen.  It has a variety of animals to choose from.  For some reason Reagan wanted to sit in the carriage today.  I couldn't believe he didn't want to ride a tiger, lion, rabbit, or an ostrich.

There was a live band and people were dancing.  It was so sweet to watch the dance partners come together and leave the floor.  I think they must have taken lessons beforehand because they were all really good!

Lauren & Phil's Wedding

Our friends, Lauren and Phil got married last night at Gonzaga in DC followed by a reception at the Bethesda Country Club.   Everything turned out beautiful on their big day!  Lauren despises the rain. . .in fact on sunny days she still carries an umbrella.  Luckily after a very rainy morning the sun came out just in time for their wedding!  Kai and I were able to attend while Jen watched the boys for us.
Details. . .details. . .Lauren didn't miss a single detail when it came to planning the perfect wedding.

Lauren and her proud Daddy!

Going to our friends weddings always reminds us of how much fun we had at our own wedding!

Father Daughter dance.  Lauren's dress was so beautiful!

It is always great to have a night out with our friends.  However we were definitely ready to come home and see our little boys!
