Memories

It was perfectly sunny when we arrived at my parent's lake cabin on Lake Coeur d' Alene. I have so many wonderful childhood memories at the lake and I hope the boys will have fond memories of the lake as well.  After I put the boys down for bed I received a few updates via facebook from my cousin Betsy.  She scanned and uploaded several pictures from our summers at the lake with all our cousins.

I had a really good laugh and it prompted me to go through some of the old photo albums here at the lake.  Gosh there are some funny ones!  We all have so many great memories of this place.  I love it!

We were joined by my sister and her four children Burke (8), Tristan (5), Mikaela (3), and Annelise (4 months).  It was our first time meeting Ms. Annelise!  She is such a perfect little baby.  I don't think I have heard her fuss all day and she is super smiley!

Reagan, Tristan and Mikaela helped make Grandma's tasty Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cookies.  The secret - they have vanilla pudding in them which makes them extra yummy and super soft.

Who doesn't love throwing rocks in the lake?

 Mikaela

This family isn't opposed to child labor.  Burke hauled loads and loads of wood from the yard to make a huge bon fire on the beach.

Mikaela is quite the mother figure around here.  She took care of Camp all day.  Here she is drying off his hands after playing in the kiddie pool.  Camp isn't quite sure why she is doing this because he just kept dipping his hands right back in the water!  Such a sweetie pie!  Oh and my goodness...the vocabulary on this little girl is amazing!

After dinner Camp had just about had enough and was ready for bed.  He helped me finish the dishes before heading off to sleep.

 Beautiful Baby Annelise!

Rachel & her sweet baby!
Tomorrow I'll have to get a picture of her smiling with her beautiful blue eyes!

Splish Splash

We met up with my friend Alisha for coffee and a trip to a newish park near the YMCA.  Of course my little guys gravitated toward the water and spent the majority of their time splashing in the water.  Note to self: Bring swimsuit next time we go!  Both boys were soaked.  Thankfully I had a sweatshirt for Camp and Reagan rode home in his undies!

Reagan, Camp & Alisha enjoying some time swinging together.

The water is within reach!  Watch out!  Here he goes!

If only his squeals could accompany still images you'd hear Camp squealing with delight.  This little boy loves the water. He's a true Pisces.

They sure enjoy their time together!

Old Friends = Good Times

Brooke, Ashlee, Bonny and I have all been friends since elementary and middle school.  Bonny is visiting from Arizona and Brooke and Ashlee live in Spokane.  It is always so much fun to get together with all of our kids.  We manage to pick up right up where we left off.  We all spent the afternoon and evening at Brooke's new house out in the country.  There was no shortage of activities for the kids to do.  My boys are really enjoying spending so much time outside!

Pretty country view!

Kiddos...before the ruckus started!

So this is what it would be like to have twins!  It lasted for all of 3.5 seconds.  Coelho and Camp are about 3 months apart.

Coelho loves wallets.  With all us girls in the house he had a few more wallets to rummage through.

So the chilly temperatures didn't deter the kids from using the slip n' slide...do they still call them that?  This one is a little more elaborate than the ones we had as kids.

Locked & loaded!

Fire!

Kelan with his fireman's hat!  Such a cute little guy!
A game of Duck, Duck, Goose!

Go Reagan!

The girls + Coelho!

Kole turns 5 on Wednesday!  Happy Birthday Kole!

Thanks to Brooke & Gibby for being such wonderful hosts!  I should have taken photos of all the food we had!  Brooke always puts together a beautiful spread of food for her guests.

Pagliacci Nom...Nom...

The boys and I met up with Bria, Danny and Daniela at one of our favorite pizza places, Pagliacci.  Dining at Pagliacci in college was slightly different!  Reagan and Camp pretty much run the show during dinner.  Reagan is at the age where he can sit and entertain himself, Camp not so much.  Regardless, the pizza was just as tasty as I remember it!

Auntie B with her twinner Reagan!

Bria played right along with Reagan's antics.

 Camp adoring Auntie B!

 And Danny too!

Us girls!  I really miss spendng so much time with Bria & I'm really going to miss spending time with Daniela now that she lives back in Seattle too!

Come on Camp!  I'll catch you!

Someone loves his frozen yogurt just as much as his mommy!

Next time he's getting his own!
