Summer Vacation

We made it to Seattle last night after a late night flight from Washington DC.  I couldn't have asked for a better flying experience with two little boys!  The lady seated next to us moved to another seat to give us more room so we had the whole row to ourselves.  About two hours into the flight the boys were asleep and slept until we began our descent into Seattle.

They stayed awake until we got to Grandma and Grandpa's house, spent some time exploring and then went back to bed until 6 am!  I was thrilled when I woke up at 4 to see them both sleeping soundly.  I was dreading this morning as I thought they would get up at their usual time which would have been a super early wake up call here on the West Coast.

This is a view I could definitely get used to.

Next was off to see Grandma Yuki & Grandpa Fudge.
Oh you're so cute!

Reagan showed Grandma how to play games on the iPhone.

Reagan loves this old train that Grandpa has hidden away in the basement.  This time Reagan got to help put the batteries in!

Camp discovered Grandma Yuki's collection of magnets.

Grandpa has a beautiful garden this year.  Some of the crops are just starting to come out and we're hoping that we'll be able to pick some strawberries or carrots before we leave in July.

Uncle Simon arrived from New Zealand today and spent some time helping Reagan build a dirt castle in the garden.

Camp got to try his first mochi ice-cream.  Thanks Grandma & Grandpa!

And as if we hadn't already crammed enough into our 1st day here...we went to Sky High with Amalia, Alison, Mattia, Madison and Marcy!

We finally got to meet our newest niece Madison!  Isn't she just the sweetest?

Reagan loves his new baby cousin!

Mari and Simon came back from New Zealand today.  They had shirts made for all the nieces and nephews.  Thanks Mari & Simon!

You know how Camp loves basketballs, soccerballs, footballs...you get the picture.  He has been pointing at the basketball hoop in the driveway all day and finally found someone tall enough to help him touch the net!

We ended the night with freeze pops and a bath.

We had a wonderful first day!  Looking forward to spending more time with family and friends while we are here!
