Eat You Up!

I hope I never lose sight of this...

Olney Splash Pad

Who doesn't love water?  Especially when it's nearly 100 degrees out?  This week has actually been really nice.  Although it has been hot, the humidity has been bearable.  Thank goodness!

Oh and this is what happens when you have too much fun.

Seriously...We have a problem

There isn't anything in this house that is safe anymore.  Last week we had to rearrange our bedroom because Camp can now crawl onto the ottoman, then up on to our bed.  Our bed is ridiculously high...sort of like the one Thumbelina slept on.  Camp has fallen off the bed twice!  No more monkeys you say?  Yes...twice right before my eyes.  So we moved all the furniture around so the ottoman is now in the window away from the bed.  No more monkeys jumping on the bed!  Then I come home from being away for the weekend and I see this...

Making Progress

The moment I've been waiting for all summer is finally here.  I'm thinking tomorrow I'm going to make this...
Since we have gone from this...

 to this...

and clearly we have plenty of this...

Now all I need is to take a little trip to Marchone's in the morning for some fresh mozzarella!

Honestly if it weren't for our two little guys, my plants would probably be dead.  Camp reminds me to fill the watering can with "wa wa" all the time.

Ah Hoy Matey!

After returning from our trip out west we spent two days getting rested, organized and cleaned the house.  It was time for us to get out and play!  Brady & his family are headed to the Outer Banks tomorrow for a week long vacation so we took advantage of the beautiful day and went to their house to play outside for a few hours.

Brady loves all things Pirate, hence the Pirate swimming pool & Pirate water table!

Sad...my camera was on a setting that made the pictures dark and I hadn't realized it until we were done.  You get the idea - Water + Pirates + Friends = Fun!

Here and There

We had a fantastic trip back to see family and it hardly seems that we were gone for 3 weeks!  We got to meet our two newest nieces, Madison & Annelise, rode the Duck for the 1st time, rode on a ferry, and got a chance to see a lot of friends and family along the way.

I guess time really does fly when you're having fun!

I mean who would complain if they woke up to this day after day?

We got to see a rainbow without experiencing the rain

5 am wake up call looked like this, snuggling an over sized arm chair with Camp

Another spectacular day at the lake!

I wouldn't mind washing dishes every day if my view was of this:)

Camp loved helping with dishes at the lake cabin.  Guess I have created a monster though because now he wants to sit in the sink at home too!

Sunday drive with Uncle Scott

S'mores!

I think I see some S'mores on that face!

So happy he joined us!

Miss. Baby Annelise

We left the lake right as we should have been having lunch...so what did we do?  We stopped for ice-cream!  Ha!  Grandma discovered that Camp isn't that excited about sharing his ice-cream and would prefer to hold the cone himself.

We played at Bell Square while Grandma hit up the Nordstrom Sale!

We had lunch with Keith at Uwajimaya

Again, Camp prefers to hold his own cone.  However, he couldn't decide which was tastier, his cone or Uncle Simon's!

Love that face!

Miss. Madds & Auntie Sarah, pronounced "Antie" like the bug

Grandpa John with Baby Madison

Grandma took Reagan to see Cars 2 in 3-D

Reagan loving on cousin Madison

We truly enjoyed every moment of our trip!

To Bremerton to Meet Charlie

It's been ages since we have seen Ashley & Kevin & they welcomed a new addition to their family since we last saw them.  We rode the ferry to Bremerton to meet Charlie for the first time!

Leaving the docks in Seattle

Kai & Reagan

I stayed in the car while Kai and Reagan went up to check out the views from the passenger deck.

Camp and Reagan loving Ashley & Kevin's yard.

Yummy!  Cook Kev made us the most delicious waffles.  Waffles with apricot jam, brie, bacon and basil!  I'm going to have to try and recreate this little breakfast treat sometime!  For the kids they had a waffle station with strawberries, blueberries, chocolate & butterscotch chips, sprinkles and whipping cream!

Since it was such a nice day we went over to Ashley's parent's house for a swim.

Camp and his new best fried Charlie

Charlie loves the water & he isn't afraid!

Somehow Ashley managed to stay on dry land & is still looking very cute!

On the way back everyone was awake for a family picture in front of the city.

I almost cursed at this seagull as he flew into view as I was taking a picture of the Seattle skyline.  First time I've actually liked having a seagull in my picture though!

Thanks Kevin & Ashley for hosting us for brunch and for taking us for a swim.  We really enjoyed our time in Bremerton!
