In the summer this is one of my most favorite DC events. Every Friday night a different Jazz band plays at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture garden and everyone takes a picnic and sits in the grassy areas around the garden and if you are lucky enough you might even find some shade. Today the weather was perfect! We arrived early and secured a spot in the shade, in our normal spot by the pizza cutter. We enjoyed the music of Nattybeaux a jump swing band.
Really. . .it's not a pizza cutter but rather a gigantic typewriter eraser.
