Snowquester was the name some witty weatherman named the huge storm that was supposed to blast the DC area. Then it changed to sNOwquester after the weathermen were sorrily wrong about yet another winter storm. They have pretty much been wrong all winter long. I wasn't getting my hopes up too much that they'd get it right this time around but I followed their every move anyway and was crossing my fingers that they'd be able to get this one right. We were expected to get lots and lots of snow. It amounted to about 3-4 inches and then quickly slushed away by the afternoon and evening hours. Regardless, we played, we had fun & I enjoyed every moment of my snow day with the boys!
We got out early int he morning while the snow was still coming down hard.
We had plans to accessorize our little snowman, but by afternoon it was rainy & slushy. We did add some Reeses Peanutbutter cups for eyes.
Sad...a mere 24 hours later and this was all that was left of our little snowman.
