Raak Family Halloween Party
Kai and Sara used to work together at the Chamber. Her husband Paul is a lobbyist in DC. Their son Oliver is 2 and baby boy Raak #2 is on the way!
Oliver definitely knows how to host a great Halloween Party! Paul made homemade chili, hot dogs and even cooked up some s'mores in their little backyard fireplace. The kids dressed up in their costumes and painted pumpkins. We spent the evening watching 6 boys under the age of 4 run a muck in the back yard.
Who says a monkey can't ride a bicycle?
Thankfully most of the paint actually ended up on the pumpkins and not on their patio!
Working on his masterpiece.

He's quite the entertainer!

Visit from Grandpa Gil & Grandma Aimee
Grandpa Gil and Grandma Aimee came out for a very quick visit last weekend. We manage to fit a lot into the short time they were here. We ate out at Filomena and the General Store and even made our way to Larriland Pumpkin Patch.
This is what happens when you take Reagan in a hay maze. . .one minute he's here. . .
the next minute he's gone!
Camp cozied up with Kai and missed the whole thing!
So I am sure these pumpkins were not placed here for climbing and jumping off of, but Reagan took the lead of some other kids and made these pumpkins into his own obstacle course.
Camp woke up just in time to do some pumpkin picking.
Ugh! It's so heavy!
