When Grandma & Reagan met for the first time she walked and walked with him. Telling him how cute he was and how much she loved him. She kept asking if I wouldn't mind leaving him there. She promised she would take really good care of him! I have no doubt that she would spoil him rotten.
It's no secret that Kai is the only Republican in his family. Yuki will tell anyone that he is her only Republican grandson. I'm pretty sure Reagan and Grandma are having their first political discussion here. It would have gone something like this:
Grandma: Now Reagan, just because you are named after a President doesn't mean that you have to vote Republican.
Reagan: Ahhh, I'm listening grandma, tell me more.

I truly admire Yuki's strength and courage. She & Fudge have created such a warm and loving family that I am so proud to be a part of. A short documentary was produced in the spring of 2002 documenting the life and imprisonment of Yuki's family during World War II.
