Amaryllis

WARNING: This post has nothing to do with our children.  

Not really anyway.

This is the first plant that I have managed to keep alive!  I am so pleasantly surprised everyday when I come home from work to see how it has grown or changed over the course of the day.  It is really fun to watch the reaction on Reagan's face when he notices the changes.  I wish I would have taken pictures from the beginning because it arrived at our doorstep as a pot of dirt.  Honestly I was quite nervous that I would end up killing the poor plant.  

But look at her...

 isn't she beautiful!
