This year we opted to get our tree in town and it turned out pretty perfect!
You'll love this...
I also absolutely love to send and receive Christmas cards. I also am one of those people that get pure joy out of sending out my cards early! Well, I just couldn't swallow buying $90 in stamps at once so I opted to only send out half at a time. For some reason, in my mind spending $45 twice, felt better than $90 all at once. Anyhow, Kai helped me put address labels, return address labels and stamps on all of our cards. I double & triple checked them to make sure they all had the necessary labels to go out in the mail. Then I proceeded to put them into two boxes, both of which I left on the counter & didn't tell the Mr. which was which. Bless his heart he took the boxes to work and mailed them ALL! The ones with the stamps and the ones without. I really had no one to blame except myself. That'll teach me! So some have come back & we've resent them, some were delivered and those on the receiving end were asked to pay for postage (Sorry Sohn!) and some haven't returned at all. I have no idea who got their cards and who didn't. If you read this, and you didn't get your card, we didn't skip over you intentionally, your card is probably in the mail ...somewhere.
I absolutely love this time of year! Now if it would snow I'd be completely content.
