Happy Anniversary!

Kai and I finally celebrated our 8 year anniversary.  We've been married for 8 years...which also means we've also lived far, far from family for almost 8 years too.  We've grown tremendously as a couple and I feel really lucky that he chose me to spend his life with.

We celebrated by having dinner at Lincoln.  Did you know President Lincoln was the tallest U.S. President? or that he was the 1st Presidential family with young children?  Learned some new things that evening.  I also learned that they have delicious food!!!  They have a small plate menu, using all local ingredients.  Yummy! 

The floor in the main dining area is made of pennies. 

And there is really neat artwork...all of you guessed it...pennies!

And who doesn't love a Rooster with deviled eggs as an appetizer?
