Out on the Town
Kai and I attended the APAICS dinner where we met Hawaii Five-O's Brian Yang.
True Story - After a very humble introduction Brian Yang says something to the effect of working on a show called Hawaii Five-O and Kai says "That's my mom's favorite show!" And then when Nancy found out we got to have dinner with him she said, "Did you tell him it's my favorite show?" Actually, yes Nancy, those were the first words from your son's mouth!
Parks
Before Nancy left we spent a lovely afternoon at the park!
First train ride of the season at Wheaton Regional Park
Camp enjoys looking just like Daddy these days!
BINGO
The PTA at Reagan's school had a BINGO night. Someone is quite competitive. Not sure where he gets that from? Out of a cafeteria packed with people, Reagan won twice! He won two gift cards, one Visa and one to Macys. At the end of the night there was a raffle for a mini ipad, which of course Reagan thought he should win that too. Unfortunately our raffle ticket was one digit off! The family that arrived just before us won. Probability of winning is a difficult thing to understand as a kindergartner. Although it is tough to see your child disappointed, these are important life lessons to learn how to get through. There will be many more disappointments.
Memorial Day Weekend
We headed into town to check out the Natural History Museum.
I mean seriously. He always gets his way. This is so them.
Love my boys!
Meeting Sienna
We also got to finally meet Baby Sienna! Isn't she just the most adorable little girl you've ever seen!
Reagan enjoyed making Finn laugh.
Mama, Sienna & Reagan
Raak Annual BBQ
Reagan is into making silly faces all the time. I'd be shocked if I got a normal picture from him any time soon.
Love Birds...Married 8 years this month!
Just for Fun
I love moments when I catch them like this. No squealing. No fighting. Just loving each other. Well...let's be honest, they're watching tv together...but still.
Reagan loves to read! My teammate Lauren bought this book for him for his Birthday. She is so super thoughtful. Reagan borrowed a few books from her classroom a while ago and she remembered how much he liked them. They're the Elephant and Piggy books by Mo Willems. Super funny! Here we are shopping at Costco while Reagan read the entire book to me.
Reagan has become much more adventurous when it comes to sushi! He decided he really likes the shirimp tempura roll, one of my favorites. However, he dislikes the cucumber and made me pick them out. There's someone else in our family that once told my mom he was allergic to cucumbers, and she believed him.
Saturday morning shopping anyone? They're pretty good at it. They only hit the back of my heels twice this shopping trip:)
No words...
