So happy they're safe

As I heard the news of the earthquake in Japan this morning I immediately thought of our friends Melissa & Jason.  They recently moved there in January with their two darling kiddos, Jack & Maggie.   Jack is 2 and Maggie just turned 1.  As I have probably mentioned before, I met Melissa through one of my college friends, Ashley.  She was out here visiting her husband, Jason.  Jason was in DC for a training and was here for about 6 weeks.  Follow me?  Although Melissa and I only had the chance to hang out for the week she was here, we found that we have a lot in common and have remained in touch ever since.  Melissa is responsible for this blog.  She introduced me to the blogging world last summer as a way to communicate the happenings of our daily lives with family & friends.  You can read all about her experience during the earthquake here.  Hoping for their continued safety in Japan.  We'll be thinking of you!
