Easter Fun

My mom came out and spent the whole week with us for my Spring Break.  We went shopping, spent some time baking, went shopping some more & visited one of my childhood friends, Cherie.  Cherie & her family relocated to Virginia last year for her husband's job.  While visiting her we went to Jamestown and to an amazing children's museum.  I was so mad at myself because I forgot my camera!  Cherie has two children that are just a little older than Reagan & Camp.  We had a great time visiting her.  Too bad she is moving again this summer!  This time they are off to Minnesota!

Egg Dying
Reagan really enjoyed decorating and dying the easter eggs this year.  We had to wait for Camp to go to bed  before tackling this project.  Camp is in to everything...yes everything!  He climbs up on those little chairs and can get to pretty much anything on the table.  He is currently obsessed with water glasses and cups so this was definitely a NO-GO for Camp.  Maybe next year!

Easter Bunny Train
The weather didn't cooperate for us to ride the train with the Easter Bunny, but at least we got to see him.

 A little closer...

Close enough to get an egg...

Nope!  Not this year! Camp was not a fan.

Unfortunately it started pouring before we could snap a good picture of Grandma with the boys.  Reagan has been wearing this face a lot lately.  He was disappointed we couldn't go on the train and that his morning of playing at the park was ruined by the rain.  I'm beginning to wonder why they called it the "terrible twos?" I'm thinking the closer we get to four is a lot worse than when he was supposedly in that terrible stage.

Easter
We had a really low key Easter this year.  We spent the day at home and the boys got a visit from the Easter Bunny this afternoon.  He left behind some little treats and they had a small egg hunt indoors.

Camp discovered each egg had a little treat inside.  He didn't care about collecting them, he only cared about opening them and eating the little chocolate egg before moving on to the next egg.

Happy Easter!
