Meet New Friends, But Keep the Old

On Friday night the boys and I got to go into the city to have dinner with a friend that I haven't seen in years!  When I'm talking years, I mean YEARS...at least 13 or so years.  Wow!  Does that sound right?  Debbie, is Rachel's age in school, but she, her younger sister Lori, Rachel and I spent a lot of time with them through elementary, middle & high school.  I have many fond memories of hanging out with the Maier girls!  They lived just a mile down the road and since we grew up in the country they were practically our neighbors.  We rode our bikes down to their house nearly every day.  We built forts, climbed on rocks, went skiing and rode horses together all of the time.  I even got my first job through Debbie when I was only 14!  We were quite the team of house cleaners!  Can you believe, someone paid me to clean their house?

It really didn't feel like it has been that long! 

We had so much fun seeing Debbie!
