Typically on the weekends we are running here or there trying to catch up on errands and get ahead for the next week. Other than a quick trip to Trader Joe's, we didn't have any where to go today! Thank goodness!
Someone was feeling a bit under the weather & this is how we treat those that don't feel well at our house.
The best part, he didn't have a clue.
He asked "Did I fall asleep?"
"Were you taking pictures of me?"
Nuh-uh not me.
Delish
We spent time lining our cars up
and taking their portraits
Oh and we tried kissing the dog
AND no her tongue doesn't go back in her mouth
AND yes, it's super dry
I've come to the conclusion that she's just too lazy to put it back in her mouth. When she wants to, it goes back in, which is hardly ever. Poor Isabella.
We built a TOMY city.
Brag moment - At Reagan's conference earlier this month his teachers were impressed with his creativity, logical thinking and planning. He builds roads, tracks and little cities out of blocks across the room.
I have endless hours of Thomas the Train to thank for that.
Luckily for me, Kai supervised building a TOMY city and Campbell didn't completely destroy it, while I cleaned the refrigerator, made chicken soup, marinated chicken for later this week and organized recipes.
Basically Susie Homemaker showed up this morning and couldn't be harnessed. Love it when that happens. It feels much better to start off the week organized.

Love the picture of Kai with the boys. Too cute! Fun post, Sarah
Looks like you've got a future urban planner there, Sarah. As long as the main form of public transportation is trains, that is...
