As a kid I loved having my Birthday on New Years Eve. It meant another celebration toward the end of break, a chance to see lots of friends and everyone was always excited to be celebrating. Now that we have kids of our own, we tend to hang out with friends or just stay home. I joked that we're old fuddy duddies, but when it comes to going out and being out on the town, I guess that just what we are!
This year we celebrated my birthday by spending the day with my mom. Kai made me a wonderful dinner, got me flowers and
baked up a storm in the kitchen came home with my favorite cake from Whole Foods! Our neighbors came over to help celebrate, we watched a movie AND of course I was in bed before midnight!
The boys were super excited to help blow out the candles!
Something tells me Camp is going to be really protective of his little friend Aryan as he gets older!
Most favorite thing of all...my card from the boys! Never thought I would love seeing my child's handwriting...MOM...so sweet!
It's a keeper. If you can't tell Kai has labeled himself and both of the boys.
Yep...pretty much my life!
