Remember earlier in the month when I wrote about class pets
here? Well I thought I had skirted taking care of a live class pet. Little did I know that Reagan volunteered us to take care of Hermy over break. Luckily he is low maintenance. He requires new food and water each day and that's about it! I do keep checking to make sure he's still alive because other than our one little visit from Hermy captured below, he hasn't moved a bit!
Sidenote: We don't actually know if his real name is Hermy or if that is what Reagan calls him? Jeanna's mom, Marilyn bought Reagan a book when he was a baby called Hermy the Hermit Crab Goes Shopping and we think this is why Reagan refers to him as Hermy! It's one of our favorite books! I'll have to inquire when Reagan goes back to school about the his real name.
