We decided to treat ourselves to a little walk to Starbucks since the weather is still so nice & pleasant in the mornings.
Camp is so proud that he can finally sit in a regular seat without having to sit on his knees. Sure, his head barely peeks up above the rim of the table but this makes him a big boy. He's really into being a big boy lately and not a baby. I guess he's growing up!
Jeanna's family didn't get to throw her the traditional baby shower they had planned as Finn decided to make his entrance into the world 5 weeks earlier than anticipated. So instead everyone got to meet him at their Sip & See party. Such a cute idea for a party, right? Everyone gets to meet the baby and enjoy each other's company...men included and there weren't any silly baby games! Instead there was all this lovely food prepared by Marilyn and Holly!
Doesn't it just look delicious! Let me tell you...it was! It just about took all the will power I have in me to resist gobbling up that lemon pound cake!
Peter is such a proud daddy!
After Jeanna & Peter's party we went to the Giles for our last Sunday night dinner for this summer...well until August anyway. Since the Giles have moved here, we have had dinner with them almost every Sunday. We used to rotate between houses until the weather got warmer & they built a beautiful deck off the back of their house to lounge on! They have been so wonderful to host us!
Last night we decided to go out for custard after dinner. We probably pushed the limits of our children a bit too far as they were getting pretty tired but just look how cute these two are!!!
