In the park there is this odd dome that the kids love to climb, run, roll or slide down. It is made from that squishy playground material so although it looks like a tumble down the side could really hurt, I think it's relatively safe. I say relative because I saw several kids run as fast as their little legs would carry them down the side of the dome to come crashing to a stop once they landed in the bark. Whoopsies! Oh and then there was the kid that took his scooter to the top and I thought for a split moment that he was contemplating riding his little razor down the dome when he decided to let it go. Luckily there wasn't anyone in the path of his flying scooter. Boy does the teacher in me come out in those moments. I have a hard time keeping quiet but his father gave him a scolding when he got to the bottom so I didn't need to! Ha!
Back up...
and down...
and this guy...he still likes to hold hands as he walks back down...
for now...
getting a little more brave...
tummy slide...
and who doesn't want to try and roll down?
Working together to dig a giant hole
They couldn't just use the sidewalk on their way back to the car? Boys...
They were all gathered around the DS after dinner.
Projects...without little fingers involved.
I'm made some vinyl words for Danielle's wall at her new daycare space.
I'm excited to see how it looks on the wall!
I know the boys are looking forward to spending more time with Gregory, Jackson and Maddison later on today just as much as we are looking forward to a movie and dinner...alone.
