Earlier in the fall Camp dropped one of our little PB Kids chairs on his toe. It swelled up like a grape, turned black and blue, fell off and the rest is history. Well, unfortunately his new nail developed an infection and a trip to Urgent Care (because of course it happened on the weekend when his Pediatrician is closed), the ER and two antibiotics later we are on the road to recovery. Sounds dramatic right? Well for this mama it sort of was. His poor little toe had everyone concerned especially since the infection started to travel up his leg! Thank goodness he responded to the 2nd round of antibiotics. 1st round caused an awful allergic reaction, Bactrim, Bactrim, Bactrim must remember that for future reference. We are hoping he'll grow a new healthy nail!
He actually didn't mind sitting on the counter soaking his feet in the sink.
It was the after care that he wasn't a fan of!
