Although we ended up going to see the Cherry Blossoms on sort of a dreary day it ended up being nothing of the sort. I'll admit I was a little pessimistic as we were leaving Starbucks and there was rain on the windshield. I was looking for the perfect day to go for a walk around the Tidal Basin and didn't really feel like getting wet. However, it turned out to be a great time despite the rain and very cold weather!
Seriously, you can't get a normal picture of this kid these days!
Even though we missed the peak, the blossoms were still beautiful. As the wind blew the petals floating down looked like pink snow!
