Camp's Birthday Party

As I say with every Birthday and I may be in a bit of denial, but how in the world does time go by so fast?  Camp literally is growing up before our eyes.  In the last few weeks he has sprouted into a little boy & is beginning to lose his toddler chubbiness and is really starting to look much older!  At times I wish I could just stop the clock and hold onto each phase, the good, the bad and the ugly...they're all great.  Today we celebrated Camp's 2nd Birthday with many of our friends and their children.  We are lucky enough to have Grandma Nancy here to celebrate with us too!

Reagan stayed up extra late helping Grandma wrap gifts and sign cards.

I started prepping cookies earlier in the week.  Thank goodness Grandma was here to play trains, cars and put together puzzles with the boys!  Somehow I always manage to make waaaaaay too many!
Earlier this week I made 4 batches of cookies!  Wowza!

Mmmm....nom...nom...basketball orange frosting.

They went from this...

to this...
with the help of Kai and Grandma Nancy!

Our friend Jamie made these amazing cupcakes for us!  They were delish!  My favorite was the lemon one.  I may have accidently eaten two of them today!  Two for Camp's 2nd...sounds good to me!
Thank you Jamie for making Camp's special sports themed cupcakes!

And how cute are those footballs?!?
Her secret...melt tootsie rolls and shape them like footballs.  Genius!

Maddison & Camp

Getting ready to shoot some hoops!

Almost there!

Our little ref was really good at chatting it up with the kids.  He got them all organized and put onto teams.
They appear to be listening, although it was evident when the Birthday Boy was asked to pick teams, he didn't seem to understand much.
What he did understand:
play,
eat pizza,
eat cupcakes
=
FUN!

Listening intently!

Go yellow team!

So much fun to have so many of our friends there to help us celebrate!

Best buds!

Sweet Adele!

The entire gang, minus all the babes.

Afterward the kids enjoyed pizza, chips, lemonade and cupcakes!

Enjoying some of his cupcake.  Notice the football was the first to go!  Mmmm...yummy!

Thanks to everyone who came to help us celebrate Camp's 2nd Birthday!

After nap time we opened Camp's gifts.
Reagan was VERY helpful in this process as you can see!

Thank you to everyone that helped us celebrate!  It always means so much to be surrounded by friends and family!  Camp is loving all his new gifts!
