Love Affair

I've been counting down the days...

Waiting for it to be cold enough...

Stockpiling supplies...
Obsessively pinning away...

That's it, I've decided I'm having a love affair with all things 

pumpkin.  

I'll admit...I have a problem.  

I didn't always feel this way about pumpkin.  In fact, growing up, I didn't eat pumpkin pie and didn't really have a strong liking for things having to do with the fall, like stuffing, or turkey, or anything fallish for that matter.  But as I've grown I've learned that I do in fact love stuffing and turkey and everything fall.

I love the smell of fall.  

I love how crisp the air is in the fall.

I love digging out my sweaters and boots.

I love fall sports, mostly (I don't love what happens to my husband on Saturdays when college football is on all day long or on Sunday when the NFL is on all day...but that's not about my love affair)

and most of all I love PUMPKIN.

In honor of my love affair I made a few of my favorite things with pumpkin over the weekend and am excited to try out a few new recipes this fall.
