It was the perfect weather for a fall BBQ or as people out here refer them as "Cook Outs." We enjoyed good food, good company and attempted to carve our first pumpkins of the season. I was very surprised to find out that many of my doityourselfer mommy friends have never carved their own pumpkin! Now these moms aren't afraid to get their hands dirty, yet they had never carved a pumpkin before. Jodi got all these super cute Mr. Potato head inspired decorations for the pumpkins, so even the little ones could participate.

Somehow I got conned into doing this super scary ghost. Actually turned out okay, although I'm sure it will rot by the time Halloween comes around.
Reagan & Oliver have become great friends. Don't they look like they should be 18? Lounging back, hanging out, eating burgers!
Seriously, the burger is just about the same size as his head!
