Have I ever mentioned that I love the fall? Because I do, I really, really do. There's something about the seasons changing that excites me. We're well into fall around here, the weather is turning a bit chilly, the leaves are changing color, Starbucks has the pumpkin spice latte, Trader Joe's is stocking pumpkin puree on their shelves, and it means we get to head to the pumpkin patch with the Lowman family! We've been going here together for 4 years now!
October 2008
A few things have changed since then, wouldn't you agree?
Hayride out to the pumpkin patch. This year the patch was a lot farther away so we enjoyed chatting and catching up while the boys were stationary!
There's no messing around when you're a Lowman. Brady found his 1st pumpkin right away!
Ewe...what's that?
Worms!
Push!
Ugh...back up the hill! Wouldn't have been so heavy if they wouldn't have picked out such big pumpkins this year!
Once we were back from the pumpkin picking there were many things the boys wanted to do!
Would you trust this bus driver?
Duck races
Maze
I'm not sure how I got away without taking a picture of this slide. It's an old combine that has been converted into the most awesome slide. The kids climb up through the cab and then make their way to the backside for the exit on down the slide. Not sure who taught this kid to go down the slide, but we did it at least 25 times!
AGAIN!
Hay Barn
Burlap slides
Bouncy Castle
We had a fantastic day! The weather was perfect...sunny, not too hot and a light wind. Couldn't have asked for a better day to spend at Butler's with the Lowman family. We sure do miss living next door to them! Imagine, what kind of trouble those boys could get into if they lived closer to each other!
