Sharp's Farm

Today I played hookey...for a really good reason.  I finally got to go on one of Reagan's field trips with him!  It's no doubt, my favorite trip of the year, to the pumpkin patch.  We went to Sharp's Farm and for anyone who hasn't been there, it was fantastic.  The kids got to feed goats & cows, observed pigs rooting around in the mud, go on a crazy hayride that wound around and then finally went through a raging river, well maybe just a creek, but still!  It was so much fun to spend the day with Reagan & all of his friends from school.

So excited to go to the pumpkin patch!
I never knew buses had seat belts!  Pretty much the only way you're going to get little munchkins to stay in their seats.  The kids are so well trained.  They get on the bus, choose a seat & get themselves buckled up.

Checking out the pigs.

Reagan & one of his favorite friends!

Feeding the goats

This one was really mischievous.  He scaled the wall to get to the nibbles of corn the children were leaving for him.

Trying to be so brave!!!  That's the snout of a huge cow!  Eeeek!

Corn maze!

Thankfully it was more of a walk through a corn field than a maze!  I couldn't imagine getting into a maze with 17, 2 to 4 year old children!  No thank you.

What's this?

Another worm!

New pumpkins in hand!

See, raging river.  Even Ms. Yanti is scared!
