Birthday Parties, Special Visitors & Boo Boos

Birthday Parties

Once Spring arrives our weekends seem to fly by even faster than ever!  We seem to book ourselves weeks in advance for Birthday Parties and most often there is more than one each weekend!  Wish I was that popular!

This weekend Reagan attended a classmates birthday party.  I didn't get to go as it was Camp's nap time and I was busy cleaning the house.  I had actually kicked the boys out for the morning while I scrubbed down the house.  Stinks to spend a Saturday cleaning, but this mama is sooooo much happier when she has a clean house.

Trudy had a Wonder Pets theme and the children enjoyed a petting zoo with a guinea pig, turtle, rabbit and ducklings.  So cute!

Then we all went to another birthday party for Leila.  Reagan has known Leila since they were wee little tykes and Camp goes to Daycare with her now.  So bad I didn't take any pictures as Camp didn't get out of the Bouncy Castle for the 3 hours we were there!  We had exhausted kiddos!

Special Visitors

Since Allen and Ellen flew in for a quick trip to see Lizzie in her Capital Funk performance we also got a quick little visit!  They came bearing gifts for the boys and we went out for Dim Sum at a little restaurant near our house.

Yes, Ellen fed Reagan his entire meal and he completely ate it up!  He loved every minute of being doted on by Auntie Ellen!

No need to explain why the boys love Allen so much...he's one of them!
"Hey Reagan, stick your finger in your nose!"

We'll be working on undoing things Allen taught them for weeks to come!

Love you guys!

Camp woke up from his nap displeased to find out that Allen and Ellen had left.  Guess they'll need to start visiting more often!

 Boo-Boos

We got a chance to catch up with all of our favorite babies for a quick Sunday dinner at Matt and Morgan's.  Its amazing to see how much these little guys change from week to week!

Grayson-6 months

Little Finn - 4 months
Or should I say big boy Finn...he's pushin 14 pounds these days!

Matt and Morgan have a beautiful back yard!
Camp enjoyed lounged with us girls for a while.

I wasn't surprised at all to see Reagan collecting various items from around the yard.  He is a collector of small things; beads, leaves, coins, jewels...if it's small and its on the ground, he's bound to pick it up and collect it.  I'm constantly guilty of throwing out items after being given specific directions not to throw out!  Whoopsies!

This little guy coos and laughs if Mommy is around but as soon as shes behind the camera his serious face comes out.  Such a funny little guy!

So our visit at the Meyers house was short lived.  As I was busy being the baby hog hanging out with the cute little munchkin pictured above, Camp took a spill into the brick wall surrounding the patio.  We scooped him up and quickly assessed that we'd be taking him to the ER.  He was such a great little trooper.  He stopped crying by the time we got to the car and off we went.  We realized as we were sitting in triage that we forgot to tell Reagan goodbye.  We knew he was in great hands, but worried about what he would think when realizing his parents had left him.  All was well, he and Lila watched My Little Ponies as they waited for us to return...Reagan's choice.  Best thing, we were back within an hour and a half!

WARNING...not for those who are squeamish at the sight of blood.

Waiting for the docs to stitch him up.

All better!

Before...during...after...

You wouldn't even know that he fell and hit his head.  He was charming the nurses and making quite the scene while waiting for the doctors.  A teenage boy in triage across from us found him quite entertaining.  Hopeful we won't be returning to the ER any time soon, but surely know it won't be his last boo boo.
