We met up with Cherie in the morning for a play date at the South Hill Aquatics Center. It's a newer facility that has a lazy river, slide and shallow play area for kids that's pretty awesome and crazy! There's a large bucket that fills with water and comes splashing down every few minutes. Wild times! Very few photo opportunities as I couldn't risk getting either of my cameras wet! If you thought you were going to take your child to this pool and not get your hair wet, WRONG! The kids could barely get out of the water to eat lunch, they were having so much fun!

In the afternoon I was coerced to go back to Barnes and Noble to get that Bug Playground I was talking about. There are certain things Reagan just doesn't forget about and so off we went. I was sure this bug playground was going to be a total joke and that it wouldn't work. I'm learning that I'm not always right. We headed up to Brooke's to do some bug hunting. Brooke has the best house for this sort of thing. They live out in the country and have lots of places for little creatures to hide.
The little guys were sure intrigued with the playground and wanted in on the action.
Yep! The bug catcher works!
1 ladybug, 1 icky red grasshopper (released), 1 beetle & 1 almost white and black grasshopper! I got a litle jumpy and he escaped.
I'm not afraid to admit...I was wrong. This bug thingy is pretty awesome!
Thanks Brooke for making our evening extra fun & for making us dinner!
