Day 42: Eating My Words

Typically my boys and I are the first up in the morning.  We get to enjoy a little quiet time together before everyone else wakes up.  We looked down on the dock to find a family of geese hanging out on the dock.  Before I knew it Reagan grabbed my phone, ran down to the lawn and snapped about a million pictures! 

It didn't take them long to see Reagan coming and they quickly left to take up refuge on someone else's dock. 

The rest of the day we played and the kids all were on the hunt for bugs.  At dinner we found the biggest and angriest bug of all! 

The angry beetle was unharmed and was freed later in the evening.  Seriously though, this bug had some big, big chompers!  Ewe!   

I was reminded again, I was wrong & am eating my words. Won't be the last time!
