Day 30: Fresh Raspberries

Our trip back was jamm packed with a trip to IKEA, a stop over at the Gap Outlet in North Bend, a dead battery (I'll explain later), a trip to Toys R Us to tide over the anxious little boys from the back seat, a nice man and his son who came to our rescue and a 4 hour drive home.  Thankfully we made it back from Seattle all in one piece and this is what I got to eat upon returning...
Yummmy!
My parents have huge raspberry bushes lining their garden and they have been overflowing with fresh, juicy, delicious raspberries.  What a perfect way to indulge.  It reminded me of Reagan's pregnancy.  I had vanilla ice cream with fresh raspberries nearly every night.  Although they weren't fresh, like fresh out of my parent's garden.

And the dead battery thingy...We stopped in North Bend so my niece and I could shop.  I left the boys in the car with the DVD running.  It wasn't particularly hot out so I turned the car off.  That's where I went wrong, I should have left the car running.  Whoopsies!  Oh and don't worry, they weren't completely unattended, my mom was in the car with them.  The battery went dead, the movie shut off, they woke up Camp and all heck broke loose.  I diverted their anxious energy with a quick trip to Toys R Us and when we returned to the car there was a really nice man getting into his big white truck just over a few stalls from us.  I kindly asked him to give us a jump and he obliged.  Yipee!!!  I was super nervous it was going to take a long time to find someone to help us out.  We were off and ready to go by the time my mom came out of the GAP.  Lesson learned.
